In addition to the usual business banter—Agile leadership, regulated projects, PM certifications—I’m also a guy with three grown kids I’m extremely proud of. My oldest daughter works in the education field. I have 24-year-old twins: my daughter is a registered nurse at a local hospital, and my son works as an engineer at Amazon in their San Francisco office. Yes, they’re smarter than me. I’ve made peace with that.

I live in North Dallas with my girlfriend Joyce and our four-legged house nazi, Jolie—a Havanese-Maltese mix who regularly enforces and disrupts with military precision.

Outside of project management, I write. Sometimes it’s articles on leadership, time management, or why we hate meetings. Occasionally, I’m asked to punch up a movie script or weigh in on something off the beaten path—something interesting and different.
